Mike Tindall spills the beans on Prince Charles’ nickname
In a recent podcast interview, former rugby player Mike Tindall shared a surprising nickname for Prince Charles, revealing that he is known as ‘One Pint Willy’ due to his limited drinking abilities. Tindall, who is married to Zara, a first cousin of Prince William, made the revelation on BBC’s “Seven: Rob Burrow” podcast.
Zara joins in and predicts trouble
Tindall’s wife, Zara, joined the conversation and jokingly warned her husband that he would be in “so much trouble” for calling out Prince William’s father. She also mentioned that such nicknames are common among their circle.
Behind the scenes of the royal couple
The interview hinted at the playful nature of Mike and Zara’s relationship, as they discussed the pet names they have for each other. Zara revealed that she often calls her husband “munchkin,” “Mikey,” or “Michael Tindall” when he’s not paying attention. She even shared that her husband’s name in her phone ends with “kitten.”
A pub visit before the coronation
Earlier this year, Prince William was spotted visiting a pub, the Dog & Duck, ahead of his father’s coronation. Accompanied by Tindall, the Prince took the Tube, London’s public transportation system, to reach the pub, which is conveniently located near Buckingham Palace.
Competitive streak revealed
In a separate podcast appearance, Prince William and Kate Middleton joined Tindall and Princess Anne, where they discussed Middleton’s competitive nature. Tindall jokingly mentioned her skills in beer pong and table tennis, to which Middleton initially denied. However, she later admitted that she and Prince William have never managed to finish a game of table tennis due to their intense mental rivalry.
