Cooper Shines in Browns’ Win
In Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans, Browns wide receiver Cooper had a standout performance, breaking the previous receiving record set by Josh Gordon.
Gordon’s Record Surpassed
Cooper’s remarkable game surpassed Josh Gordon’s record of 261 receiving yards, which was set back in December 2013 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
A Historic Season for Cleveland
With this victory, quarterback Flacco has now led the Browns to three consecutive wins and secured Cleveland’s first 10-win season since 2020. This accomplishment is only the third of its kind for the team since 2000.
Flacco’s Impressive Performance
Flacco finished the game with 368 passing yards and three touchdown passes, solidifying his role as a key leader for the Browns. His other touchdown pass went to tight end David Njoku.
Ground Game Struggles
While the Browns didn’t make significant gains on the ground, Jerome Ford managed to start the team off with a rushing touchdown, contributing 25 yards on 15 carries.
Texans’ Late Surge
Although the Texans made a valiant effort in the fourth quarter, scoring 15 points late in the game, it was not enough to overcome the Browns’ lead.
Mills’ Performance for the Texans
Davis Mills, the Texans’ quarterback, completed 15 of 32 passes for 149 yards and two touchdown passes. Nico Collins and Andrew Beck each had touchdown catches, while Dalton Schultz led the team with eight catches for 61 yards.
Browns’ Impressive Season Continues
With this victory, the Browns’ record for the season now stands at an impressive 10-5.
